The retreat includes sitting meditation, walking meditation, and maintaining mindfulness throughout one\u2019s daily activities.<br \/>\nInstructions and guidance for all meditators will include a daily discourse by Venerable Dhammajiva Thera as well as group interviews. At the interviews each meditator will be able to discuss their meditation experiences with the teacher.<\/p>\n<p>INSTRUCTOR:<br \/>\n\u838a\u56b4\u5bfa\u7279\u5730\u9080\u8acb\uff62\u6cd5\u547d\u5c0a\u8005\uff63 (Ven. Dhammajiva Thera) \u4f86\u6307\u5c0e\u9019\u6b21\u79aa\u4fee\u3002\u5c0a\u8005\u6307\u5c0e\u79aa\u4fee\u903e16\u5e74\uff0c\u76ee\u524d\u662f\u65af\u91cc\u862d\u5361\uff62Nissarana Vanaya\u53e2\u6797\u9053\u5834\uff63\u7684\u5f8b\u5e2b\u9577\u3002\u5c0a\u8005\u65bc\u7dec\u7538\u99ac\u54c8\u5e0c\u5c0a\u8005\u9ad4\u7cfb\u7684\u73ed\u8fea\u9054\u5c0a\u8005\u5ea7\u4e0b\u5b78\u7fd2\uff0c\u901a\u66c9\u82f1\u8a9e\u3001\u7dec\u7538\u8a9e\u3001\u53ca\u65af\u91cc\u862d\u5361\u8a9e\u3002\u662f\u96e3\u5f97\u4e00\u4f4d\u50b3\u7d71\u79aa\u4fee\u9ad4\u7cfb\u4e0b\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u4ee5\u82f1\u6587\u76f4\u63a5\u6559\u6388\u7684\u79aa\u4fee\u8001\u5e2b\u3002\u56e0\u6b64\uff0c\u5168\u4e16\u754c\u5404\u5730\u90fd\u71b1\u70c8\u7684\u9080\u8acb\u5c0a\u8005\u6307\u5c0e\u79aa\u4fee\u3002<br \/>\nThe Teacher:<br \/>\nVenerable Uda Eriyagama Dhammaj\u012bva Thera is a meditation master from Sri Lanka. He has taught meditation for over sixteen years and is presently the Chief Preceptor of the Nissarana Vanaya Forest Monastery located about 30 miles from Colombo. On a daily basis, he provides training in both tranquility (samatha) and insight (vipassan\u0101) meditation to about twenty monks resident at the monastery. Venerable Dhammaj\u012bva spent several years of training under Say\u0101daw U Pandit\u0101bhivamsa, a leading Burmese meditation master who follows the lineage of the great Venerable Mah\u0101si Sayadaw. He is fluent in Sinhalese, English, and Burmese and has authored and translated many meditation guidebooks from Burmese to English and to Sinhalese. He is a rare teacher from the traditional lineages who is able to teach without an interpreter. As such, Ven. Dhammajiva is in great demand as a teacher par excellence and conducts retreats worldwide.<br \/>\nClass will be in English
