It is also the best method for us to accumulate merits.<\/p>\n<p>Through practicing four sublime abiding by cultivating loving kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity,one not only can cleanse body and mind and remove negative thoughts and emotions, but also improve relationships with others and live a harmonious life.<\/p>\n<p>\u6307\u5c0e\u6cd5\u5e2b INSTRUCTOR:<br \/>\n\u6cd5\u66dc\u6cd5\u5e2b\u76ee\u524d\u70ba\u838a\u56b4\u5bfa\u8207\u5927\u89ba\u5bfa\u5169\u5bfa\u65b9\u4e08\uff0c\u8208\u8da3\u65bc\u65e9\u671f\u5927\u4e58\u4f5b\u6559\u8207\u4e0a\u5ea7\u90e8\u4f5b\u6559\uff0c\u5c08\u7cbe\u65bc\u8aaa\u4e00\u5207\u6709\u90e8\u8207\u4e0a\u5ea7\u90e8\u7684\u963f\u6bd7\u9054\u6469\u3002\u9664\u4e86\u5b9a\u671f\u6bcf\u5e74\u65bc\u5169\u5bfa\u8209\u8fa8\u79aa\u4fee\u4e4b\u5916\uff0c\u4e26\u7d93\u5e38\u53d7\u9080\u81f3\u7f8e\u897f\u3001\u7f8e\u4e2d\u3001\u7f8e\u6771\uff0c\u6d77\u5916\u5305\u62ec\u4e2d\u570b\u3001\u53f0\u7063\u3001\u9999\u6e2f\u3001\u99ac\u4f86\u897f\u4e9e\u7b49\u5730\u6559\u6388\u79aa\u4fee\uff0c\u4e3b\u8981\u4ee5\u56db\u7121\u91cf\u5fc3\u8207\u51fa\u5165\u606f\u89c0\u79aa\u6cd5\u70ba\u4e3b\u3002\u65bc\u7d10\u7d04\u5e02\u7acb\u5927\u5b78\u4e9e\u7f8e\u7814\u7a76\u6a5f\u69cb(CUNY AAARI)\u4ee5\u82f1\u6587\u6559\u6388\u300c\u6e05\u6de8\u9053\u8ad6\u300d\u3001\u300c\u8aaa\u4e00\u5207\u6709\u90e8\u5165\u963f\u6bd7\u9054\u6469\u8ad6\u300d\u3001\u4ee5\u53ca\u4f5b\u6559\u65bc\u897f\u65b9\u793e\u6703\u7b49\u8ab2\u984c\u3002\u66fe\u4efb\u6559\u65bc\u53f0\u7063\u8457\u540d\u7684\u4f5b\u5b78\u9662\u66a8\u7814\u7a76\u6240\u3002\u66fe\u64d4\u4efb\u4e2d\u570b\u5ee3\u5dde\u4e2d\u5c71\u5927\u5b78\u4eba\u985e\u5b78\u7cfb\u8207\u54f2\u5b78\u7cfb\u5ba2\u5ea7\u6559\u6388\uff0c\u73fe\u4efb\u4e2d\u5c71\u5927\u5b78\u54f2\u5b78\u7cfb\u7814\u7a76\u54e1(Research Fellow)\u3002<\/p>\n<p>Venerable Dr. DhammadipaSak (Fa Yao), Abbot of Chuang Yen Monastery and Temple of Enlightenment, New York, who is a scholar in early Mah\u0101y\u0101na and Therav\u0101da Buddhism and an expert in Sarv\u0101stiv\u0101daAbhidharma and Therav\u0101daAbhidhamma. Besides conducting meditation retreats at Chuang Yen Monastery and Temple of Enlightenment regularly, he has been invited to provide meditative instructions on Four Immeasureable (Brahmavih\u0101ras) and Mindfulness of Breathing (\u0100n\u0101p\u0101nasati) in East and West Coasts and Midwest as well as countries oversea such as Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and etc. He has taught in English as medium of instruction, Path of Purification (Visudhimagga), Entrance into Sarv\u0101stiv\u0101daAbhidharma (Abhidharm\u0101vat\u0101ra), and various topics related to Buddhism in the Western societies. He used to be a senior professor and lecturer at some of the most prestigious graduate Buddhist institutes in Taiwan as well as a visiting professor of Anthropology and Philosophy Departments at Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China.
