This book club is focusing on studying Mahayana Buddhist Texts. <\/b>We are currently reading one of the most early Mahayana Sutras, the Maharatnakuta Sutra \u2013 a collection of 49 sutras. It was translated into Chinese in the 8th<\/sup>\u00a0Century, and then the Buddhist Association of the United States (BAUS) translated the Treasure\u2019s million words into English in 1983. We will take up Sutra 43 (Wisdom Paramita) and Sutra 5 (Pure land) at an unhurried pace to allow \u201ctext explanation\u201d and \u201copen discussion\u201d in each session. Study f<\/b>acilitators: <\/b>Mr. Henry Chang, Mr. Wayne Chang, Mr. Bruce Kou, Mr. Gary Link, Mr. Simon Yang. All of whom have been long time students of Mahayana Buddhism. Books are available.
