Vesak is the biggest event for Buddhists worldwide to commemorate the birth of the historical Buddha. As Buddhists bathe the Buddha, we aspire to eradicate all defilements and impurities of the body and mind to bring about wisdom and compassion. We also wish that all sentient beings be free from attachment and attain their inherent Buddha nature.
