He teaches in many prominent Buddhism institutes, including: Fu-yan Buddhist Institute, Dharma Drum Buddhist College (DDBC), Yuan-Kuang Buddhist Institute, etc.. He has given classes on \u201c\u0100gama\u201d, \u201cEarly Buddhism\u201d, \u201cPali Grammar\u201d, and \u201cSanskrit Grammar\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->He started to learn Buddhism and meditation since he was a sophomore; he studied his M.A. in Buddhism from Hua-Fan University, with a thesis on Pure Land Buddhism. In 2009, he completed PhD degree on his thesis \u201cA Study of Sukkhavipassaka in Pali Buddhism\u201d from University of Queensland, Australia.<\/p>\n<p>His publication has focused on the subjects of Early Buddhism and mindfulness meditation, including \u2018Buddhist Meditation and Mind-Body Medicine: The Healing Power of Mindfulness\u2019 (2006), \u2018Walking Meditation in Early Buddhism\u2019 (2009) and \u2018A Review of Mindfulness Education in the West\u2019 (2012). Being a yogi of insight meditation himself since 1999, he has translated from English into Chinese several books on insight meditation (vipassana) as taught by the late Ven.
